Gustavo Ross is an electronic systems engineer with a graduate degree in artificial intelligence from the University of Texas at Austin.
He is also a master's professor at the Universidad Panamericana in artificial intelligence, innovation and digital transformation. As a professional speaker he has participated in international events in 10 countries in Europe, North, Central and South America.
At Fundación Mexicana para la Salud Gustavo leads the Artificial Intelligence in Health Program, the Mexican Observatory for Intelligence and the organization Transform Health Mexico.
With a track record of more than two decades in the research and development of transformative technologies and artificial intelligence, Gustavo has co-founded startups and trade associations; authored several publications and patents; and has led high-performance teams in the design and development of innovative initiatives and technologies for clients such as Siemens, Novartis, GSK, Nestlé, BBVA and Bayer, among others.
In addition to his participation in FUNSALUD, Gustavo is an active partner in international technology projects that apply semantic artificial intelligence and machine learning in healthcare to improve diagnostics, triage and patient monitoring as well as quality and efficiency in medical care.
